Editorial Policy

Every word on this site is written to help you make a better decision — not to trick you into clicking something. That's the standard we hold ourselves to, and it's the only reason we'd exist.

How our recommendations work

We research products using Amazon's verified purchase reviews, owner forums, real-world usage reports, and competitive analysis. We don't accept payment to feature products, and rankings are never based on commission rates.

Each product in a guide gets evaluated against the same criteria: build quality, real-world performance, price-to-value, and common owner complaints. We try to include the honest downsides of every product we recommend.

What we avoid

How we stay independent

Amazon affiliate commissions are what keep this site running. That said, our ranking order is based entirely on our analysis — we don't take money to move products up or down. If a product we earn more commission on is genuinely worse than a cheaper alternative, we'll recommend the cheaper one.

We don't do sponsored posts, brand partnerships, or paid placements. The only revenue we take is from affiliate links you've voluntarily clicked.

Corrections and updates

Products change. New versions come out. Sometimes we get things wrong. If you spot an error — a broken link, outdated price, product that's been discontinued, or a recommendation we shouldn't still be making — please let us know. We'd rather fix it quickly than have someone act on bad information.

We aim to refresh core guides quarterly. If you flagged something broken, we prioritize those fixes.
